| The Jeep is gone, picked this up today from Bosak down in Indiana. They looked for one for me for about 3 weeks and found him over in Ohio and got him shipped over. 2014 Dodge Durango SXT Getting a bath, clayed, and waxed tomorrow while its 70. | Me too. The roads were wet when I took it out this morning and not even a hint of slip or tire squeal like I could do in the Jeep. I have a lot to figure out on it. Going to hold off washing it because its supposed to rain tonight and I am going to a Halloween party so it will be out in it. Bosak cleaned it pretty well so its not gross but I do want to clay it and get a coat of wax on before the temps drop and stay low. | |

| lol nah I can cover this one.
I was actually anxious to get up and drive it this morning. It is seriously the most comfortable vehicle I have drove. The Charger is a very close second but I guess knowing its probability of swinging the ass around on me is super low. The radio sounds amazing. I have gotten as far as pairing it bluetooth wise with my phone so I can stream music.
I was getting texts through it last night, some it would read others not. Today it was not picking them up so I need to learn more about it.

I am totally in love with it. I have drove it every single day since I brought it home. I cannot speak highly enough about it and I have not had time to sit down and figure all the neat things out on it. Still have not washed it either, working 4 am to 5 pm is killing me. Hopefully we will have a warm day next week where I can wash and wax it.

| Ok so I am thinking about how to get rid of the chrome. I got a vinyl sample that is pretty close, the SUV is so dirty right now so now I need to wait until I can clean it well to make sure its a good match. The sample is body color which I think is the right way to go, black would look weird OTHER than the grille. I am probably just going to order a black RT grille to replace my stock one. Luckily there is not a lot of chrome. I guess if the vinyl does not match well enough for my OCD I guess I can talk to a painter. Do not want to go too crazy since this is my daily. Only other things I want to do is maybe a CAI and an exhaust and then summer rims. It has 18's now and I am thinking put winter tires on those rims for next year and get 20's with summer tires. Probably will be black rims, might do the barrel inside the rim a color or something just for a little pop but not sure yet. | |

| Agreed on grill and body colored vinyl. Even if not 100% match, as long as its close it should be fine considering all the chrome is lower part of body. 1st gen Jeep SRT rims would look very good......just saying. | |

| Pics of the rims and size?
I need to look at the sample in the sun. It might be a slight bit darker but I can live with that. I just know black would look way off.

| I have another idea for rims and after seeing a photo of what it could look like I think that is what I am going to do. Saving my pennies now. Need to order the grille and figure out the wrap. | |

| Took a road trip, was gone 13 days, went to Kentucky, then Florida, then South Carolina, and finally Tennessee. Final numbers, the Durango did really well. Was like driving a big couch. | |

| I could have made it home on one tank of gas from TN. I would have had about 20 miles left but I chickened out and stopped about 30 mins from home.
I only got like 22 going south so not sure why it was better coming home other than the first 2 hours on the road Monday I went a lot slower because it was raining sideways and foggy up in the mountains and I didn't want to die.

| I'm sure it has to do with the different blends of gas you got along the way.
what a way to stretch out Atlas' legs

| I've been experimenting with about 85% 93 oct, the balance 87 oct, and just a splash of Newman's Own zesty italian salad dressing. This blend looks to be pretty solid, more info to come as I compile my data.
