Anyone bring their vehicle to the dealer for this airbag recall? Why are Japanese airbags in my Mopar?!

I just got my notice in the mail for the air bag. I also started have the fuel tank issue where the car shuts off after refueling. I just don't trust the dealers with my car

i got mine too, fuck it though. im not gonna get it replaced, i barely drive it. i also dont want anybody else fucking with it, plus with the paddle shifters i installed im SURE something would be fucked up afterwards

Yeah was thinking of asking while I get my 300 in for the gas tank recall but when I took the Magnum in for the gas tank, which Bosak didn't tighten one of the exhaust hangers and cause some noise, they said there wasn't any parts available yet to perform the recall it's just on a list with no parts to replace.

I've gotten 2 notices, one from the feds and one from Fiat both said same thing, bring your car in to any stealership ..but there's no parts available. LOL. I've not received anything about the gas tank nor does it say anything other than the stupid air bag inflator for my car on Dodge recall site. F the stealerships, I have no intention of going anywhere near one, I'd sell first lol.

Gas tank wouldn't apply for you Ger, it's only for 05 and 06 LXs. 07 and on are for the most part safe.

My old clunker is an '06. I didn't get any notice of any gas tank issue.

Got the notice in the mail a few months ago said "will contact you when the parts come in" Not holding my breath.
