| So a little update, in the last 2 days I have scored. Bought a used BT black designer series under hood kit for $150, figured it will get me by until they have sale again in November. Then today I found a set of Road Magnet lowering springs (mid drop) used less than a year old and only 5k miles on them for $150. I was going to order those exact springs brand new in the next 2 months. I'm paying less than half of cost on both my scores!!! Lowering springs won't be installed until I save up fo B Woody end links, .437 long rear control arms, and a front camber kit. Also my rims are exactly half paid for, need me some overtime at work to get all this shit done before Cinco | |

| all that black on those rims, you need a little silver. I hear black and silver is the new color combo everyone is going with. | |

| I know this is your build thread, but I'm actually pondering my first external mod on the Jeep. I don't like the bumpers. | |

| Oh yeah, finished paying off my lay away for rims. They were getting drilled out today, should have next week sometime. I know they still need to be finished in black after they are drilled out | |

| For the WK2 (11-15) Road Magnet mid drop is the way to go per everyone's reviews. The WK1 (06-10) Eibach springs are the way to go. Bunch of WK2 owners originally bought the Eibachs figuring that's the way to go being it was the way to go with the WK1's. They all hated what it did to the ride quality, everyone that switched to the Road Magnet mid drop springs say it's like night and day and very close to factory ride quality. It's vice versa for the WK1, lol. I'm also going to do B Woody end links, front camber kit, and longer rear control arms to tie everything in. | |

| Well officially hit the first snag. Just found out today that rims I ordered will not clear my brembos. I'm beyond frustrated, I was dead set on these rims. Feel like a kid that got fucked on X Mas morning. I can still get the rims but fronts will stick out 17mm (about 1/2") past the fenders, and I'm not kool with that. Or I can go 22 x 9 in front and 22 x 10.5 in rears, I don't want a staggered look either. Pete from Zygote is bending over backwards even offering me other rims that are more expensive and he would cover the difference, but I don't like the rims. So now I'm leaning towards Vossen CV3, but we may run in to same issue, Pete is contacting Vossen directly to see if they will fit. If not its back to the drawing board | |
