Pricing
•$12 for adults
•$6 for seniors aged 62 and older
•$6 for children 7-12
•Free admission for children 6 and younger when they accompany a paying adult. Family members only.
•Weekday discount coupons ($6 off the regular adult admission) available at various area new-car dealers. Participating banks also mail the discount tickets to their account holders.

Wednesday, Feb. 18 through Friday, Feb. 20:  Chicago Auto Show Food Drive. Show patrons who bring three cans of food will receive a coupon for $6 admission. All food will be donated to A Safe Haven Foundation.

There is a groupon out there for the show, one entry for $6, unless you go opening weekend (14/15) then its $8.  Can only use it on certain days so read the fine print.  I am leaning towards going on Sunday Feb 15th and the groupon can be used for that date.  If anyone wants to go that day let me know and I will plan something.

Ok here is the plan for the 15th.

I am thinking we try to carpool as much as we can because parking is stupid and we can split it.
McCormick Place offers on-site parking. There are three main McCormick Place lots. A, B & C. Lot A & C are $21. Lot B is $14. We can also park at Millennium Park on Sunday and take the free shuttle. On weekend days only parking rates at Millennium Park are $18 per 12 hours with validation. Validation will be provided as you exit the shuttle.

I am willing to drive and can take 3 others. Depending on how many want to go we will have to figure this part out. Will also have to figure out a meeting place and time. Probably will be around 1 pm.

Thinking of getting to the show around 2 pm. Walk around for 2 to 3 hours see stuff then head off to dinner around 5 pm at the latest.

South Side restaurant known for breaded steak sandwiches. Everything I have ever had from there was very good.

Chicken vesuvio, pizza slices, king size breaded steak. Can't go wrong with any of those. Grew up on ricobenies.

Goin with my gf probably Sat, can't make it Sunday damn.

King size???? Fuck that, I can only do the regular size.

Def, king size and a side of fries was the normal order even a slice of pizza on some occasions.

oh and their wings are good too

Shawn it's not that much bigger then the regular one. But it does have more meat in it.

Got mine too. I will text you later in the week to figure out the plan since it looks like no one from around our area is going.

I usually go during the week when it's slightly less crowded but Ruth wants to go Sunday and I'm sure getting any week time off will be difficult so I'll probably be in for this.

I'm going Sunday too but I'll be there earlier. I'm trying to see if I can score some extra tickets for anyone that needs them. Let me know. Might have about 7 free.

Ok according to Google Maps it will take about 42 mins to get from Woodfield to the parking garage at McCormick.

I would like to park in Lot B if possible but I will defer to people that have gone there more then me.

From I-90/94 (Kennedy/Edens) Expressway
Proceed South on I-90/94 to I-55 (Stevenson Expressway). Proceed East on I-55 to Lake Shore Drive. Proceed South on Lake Shore Drive, and exit at 31st Street. Make a right turn at the light. Make another immediate hard right turn onto Moe Drive (the McCormick Place service drive that is West of Lake Shore Drive). Proceed North on Moe Drive, to the parking attendant booths on the left side of the service drive.

Its going to be diffcult to tell those not coming from Starbucks where to meet. I would say at the entrance before you go in but I am sure they have more than one of those. So if everyone can try to park in Lot B and we will try to meet up there that is probably going to be the best bet.

Will be at the show for a few hours, thinking probably until 5.

Ok since no one is coming to Woodfield to meet that spot is canceled. Still planning on being at the show around 2. Msg me on here, Facebook, or text if you want to try to meet up.

Was a good time, getting into the parking garages was a damn nightmare and the snow did not help. Show was good, the Dodge/ Jeep area was the best as usual. The Hellcats were just sitting out for anyone and everyone to touch them, poor things. Next year I am for sure going during the week not trying weekend again. Dinner was awesome! Thank you to those that made it out.
