| I bought this. I have no idea about this shit at all! Anyone have a clue? It was the intake, dedicated fuel system, NANO system, progressive controller, and all the bottles, brackets, purge solenoid, blow down tube, switches, etc. that I'm going to need. bill | |

| I've learned a lot over the last few days. firstly, it's N2O, not NO2. While I have the manifold off the car, I'm thinking of doing something with it. what do you think? My first instinct was to go full polished. It's a lot of work or expensive to have done. and probably a lot of maintenance, but I really like it. I do worry it would be too much shiny. I have some red going on, so that is an option. Definitely easier than polished, but still maybe too much. Black, can't go wrong with black. Or, just leave it alone see the first post for a picture. I'm going to get rid of those fuel lines laying across the top and hard line them down by the fuel rails, like the red one is. here is a picture of my engine now if it helps. so what do you think? bill | |

| I'd leave it alone, but as you've seen in the pics of my engine bay, I'm more subdued.

| after thinking about it, I probably am going to leave it how it is. I like that last picture I posted and I think all the hard lines will be enough adornment. | |

| I paid 1700 for everything. It was a pretty good deal. Mack ported intake w/ N2O Outlet direct port kit N2O outlet dedicated fuel system FJO Progressive controller NANO 3000 PSI system fuel pressure safety switch purge kit various jets 2-10lb bottles bottle brackets all n2o and fuel lines blow down tube fuel flow tool gauge switch panel n2o and fuel filters misc. fittings
pretty much everything I need. I don't know if you can direct port the plastic manifolds, don't they have some kind of boxes molded into them? Call n2o outlet and ask them what it would take, they are really cool and seem to know just about everything.

| Nice set up, you should have everything you need to get going on it. What pills are installed? You can really make the intake look nice with a can of Duplicolor Cast Coat Aluminum. Part# De1650 I believe. It wont look like a crappy aluminum paint job, it will look like actual cast aluminum but a nicer sheen to it.
Rick Mack who ported the intake is awesome. He use to do a lot of port work for GTP. I had my intake done by him and I honestly felt the difference in the acceleration, plus he is a great guy to deal with.
You need to know what horsepower increase you will get with the nitrous because you may have to pull out some timing while on the spray, and make sure you run colder plugs.
I use to be a nitrous junky, and this is the best bang for your buck. Have fun with it. | |

| I dropped off the car at Tim's this morning to have the wiring finalized and get a tune. I'm pretty excited. I routed the purge kit last night in my driveway and got all giggly when I was testing it. Tim's new place is really cool, feels like a million miles from the city. He had a white challenger with a twin turbo V10 and an 800 shot of N2O, it'll run 6s! I also got to see Tom's car, alum 440 and those thiteks are really purdy, it's going to be awesome. bill | |

| I don't really have any expectations as I have zero nitrous experience. somewhere in the 11s. there will be a lot to tinker with at the track. I think your supposed to have a cage at 11.5, so I'm good with an 11.6 if i can get it. | |
