LED's

I'm thinking about installing some LED's in the engine bay. Any suggestions? Also will be looking for a person to do it ...

I bought mine from http://www.oznium.com/ and hopefully one day LilJoeJoe will install them for me.

I have the red leds for inside in the car for HVAC and I have a few waterproof led strips for my grill.

Thanks Crystal. I will try to figure out what i want and will order some. Who do i have to ask to help me  with the installation?

LilJoeJoe used to do them but he hasn't been around lately but I can ask him for me and let you know what day and maybe work something out. I know Jon needs a bit done as well. Usually he does them at a mod night.

I'm going to try to get my killerglass, fusbox, and coolant resevoir lights installed on Sat., so I'll let you know how it goes. I don't think I'm comfortable doing someone else's, but I can show YOU what to do some time.

The first one is in May, Sat the 17th I believe. I do not know if Joey can come to that. Hopefully he will chime in.

Easy to wire up. Kind of hard to fuck it up.

Hardest part is hiding the wires for a clean look. U can run them to a switch in the cab or somewhere under the hood

I could totally mess it up, that is why I leave it to Joey.

The waterproof ones just in my grill. I have 4 6" pieces so just one in each part of the grill. The inside Joey needed to add more led's to my HVAC controls, there are a few dead spots. Then I have the lit up door pulls.

I am in no rush to put everything on.

I can do the grill.

i need a strip put in under my strut bar, thats the only thing I really need done at the mod night

As Shawn said, putting LEDs in is pretty straight forward with the hardest part being hiding the wires. I have a couple to put in and trying to figure that out myself

Let me see if I can talk to Joey. With the number of people needing stuff its looking like a all day job if all are done the same day.

Joey can't make mod night in May. Hopefully the one in July he can make.

We can do led installs in my garage, just not a ton of parking by my garage.

I got some of my engine bay lighting done today, then lost enthusiasm. Crystal, I have 5 or 6 of the little leds and resistors that go on the circuit board for you hvac controls if you don't have them yet. They are red. I also have 5 or 6 larger red leds that I'm using for my coolant tank if anyone wants them. And I have a 4" x 4" red EL sheet that I'm not going to use if somebody wants to play around with that. I'll put up some pics when it gets dark out.
