Those of you that have HID's, where did you get yours from? How much?

Looking for a kit for my fogs.

I got my fogs from ebay for about $80. Never had a problem with them except for that every once in a while when i turned the fogs on, only one would come on. I just turned them off then back on and it fixed the problem.

I put leds in the fogs and they match the hid headlights pretty good. they don't do much for light, but they look good, and are really easy to install, just swap bulbs.

i have the led fogs too, they suck but they look good. lol. since i have HID's i don't care.

i want to do projector fogs eventually.

the HID's i have do the same thing, they didn't at first though. it is because they light like lightning strikes. it's the reason the bulbs can only fire so many times in their life before they are done. i don't use the auto headlight feature because i try to avoid igniting them more than i have to.

i got mine from dabears2k.com years ago for 70 bux. (10,000k 35w is what i run)

when you install them you have to make sure you flip the one connection where the harness from the car would plug into the stock headlight bulb. just flip it when you put it into the ballast of the HID. LX cars are reverse polarity and if you don't flip that plug you will have the problems you mentioned and also you burn out ballasts.

I've bought all my HID's through DDMtuning.com $35 a kit when I purchased them.
I've been running them in a bunch of my cars with no issues. I also purchased the anti flicker kit.

I will look into these LED bulbs that you all are talking about. Dabears screwed me over 2-3 years ago. I bought 2 kits from them (lows/fogs). I am still running the low's, they screwed me on the fog kit. They can kiss my ass!!

This is who I recommend, never had a problem, and customer service has always been top knotch for me. Make sure if you do order, add the Error Free Can Bus Decoder and Relay Wiring Harness. You should have zero problems. Do a google search for coupons, I usually always find something.

Also be sure to aim your headlights correctly since a halogen housing isn't really made for HID.

I'd like to fucking strangle assholes with HID kits without at least trying to align the lights.

DDM here. Well dads Accord. His Sylvester stars were still not bright enough for him so I opted to get him some HIDs and he loves them!
I got some too but didn't get the error eliminator harness and they flickered like an under cover cop so didn't use them. Still have to order them.
