NEED HELP FAST.......

Only thing holding the jeep from hitting the streets are my calipers. They are leaking fluid and well cant drive around like that. Anyone know of a place/shop/ person that can rebuild them/ take a look at them for me or anyone on the forum willing to take a look at them or rebuild them? The next few weeks I will have no time because of work as CPS will be closing schools down. I have state meetings and reports that have to done.

Any and all info would be helpful......

Ok, my front left BREMBO caliper seized/ locked up 2 out of the 4 pistons inside the caliper due to salt/corrosion. (My daily driver) Had my front left BREMBO rebuilt late January.

This a well known problem with our brembos apparently in the midwest. (Wasnt to me!)

According to Chrysler/Jeep/Dodge BREMBO brakes not rebuiltable! WHAT A JOKE!!
$532 for each front caliper.

Make a long story short...I ordered parts from the one known/only person that advertises is known on the forums ZECKHAUSEN RACING brake experts.

I myself couldnt remove or install the new parts so after going to a few local shops I got in touch with a caliper rebuilder in chicago that had 2 newly rebuilt brembos in stock for $100!!!!!!! (Each)

Anyway drove there and he rebuilt my own red caliper for $100 in 20min.

I got new pistons/ o-rings from DRT. I only had time to test one of the fronts. I really don’t know were its leaking from as I was mad and just took it off and left it. I didn’t feel like dealing with it at the time. I have not tested the others but will be doing that today.

Thanks for the info and I’ll give them a call to see what they can do.

FYI just gave them a call...125 each now that for them covering any parts used. I have and extra set of o-rings so I'm hoping my price will be lower.

just wanted to upload some pictures of how my caliper looked. sorry for how big they came out.
These 2 pistons were stuck/frozen/seized on there. Unable to retract so they were squeezing one side of my brake pad against the rotor. Once I removed the wheel and looked at the brakes there was zero brake pad left and it was scratching the rotor. Thanks Brembo.

All fixed.....Good news is, I actually did them right and only had issues with the ones I didn't put together lol. Still had them presser test them all. They also gave me new bleeders, clips, pins and bolts. All in all, I would hit up this place if you are not planning on DIY. I ended up giving the guy $50 for taking good care of me and going the extra mile to give me parts that would just clean it up.

FYI: He said price is 125 per caliper. A rebuild kit will run you close to 400+ and not including bleeders, clips, and all that. Today I took one of my buddies to his done and took them 1hr to get them all done.

They also do powder coating didn't ask for a price but he told me he could powder mine up and have them done the same day. Little did he know mine are already candy purple lol.

What brand new ones look like. I still have these as I didnt choose to get these installed and was hoping to send them back to ZeckHausen but never did. I think I'll just keep them incase the rest of my Brembo pistons decide to take a shit on me in the future.....
