From what i have read if its your DD its a good idea for heat purposes. If your track only in your case, not needed. I am getting them coated inside and out

Headers are fucking hot. I heard that coating shit don't do scikum for the heat. I dunno.

the headers on my truck are un-coated and they look like ass now. they were put in about 9 years ago i think.

Just picked up my headers, thanks Ish!!! Got a great deal on some Stainless Works headers w/ hi flo cats from Ish. Decided not to coat them after talking with some people, thanks for bringing that up Tom, saved me $300. Dont plan on driving my Jeep in anymore winters. Will have another beater very soon. Now just waiting on parts from PWR to set up an install day.

That's badass Shawn. You probably can't run them like mine, but you can run off of cut out's. Then again I can see you just driving around with open headers, lol.

Sounds like parts are in, shooting for install this Saturday. Waiting to here back from Tim, need a start-up tune emailed to me so I can drive it to Rockford next week for a dyno/tune.

I also decided to replace timing chain, cover, and waterpump. All that shit has to come off for install might as well do it for peace of mind. That stuff will be straight from the dealer, no rebuilt shit.

Install is a go for tomorrow!!!! The only thing that sucks is Tim cant get me tuned till June 1st. Will be using a start-up tune till then.
