Low end power for a high end power curve Empty
PostSubject: Low end power for a high end power curve   Low end power for a high end power curve I_icon_minitimeMarch 15th 2013, 9:49 pm

Hey guys! I was looking at a few power curves for the Challengers and it seems like most of the power is at the upper end of the 2-4000 RPM range. That's not good for street racing or going from corner to corner. So, trying to find ways to work on the lower end of the power band. I figure a taller rear diff gear will help but that's not going to be good enough. Any other suggestions? I have an 09 Challenger RT with a 5.7L auto that is pretty much bone stock.

smaller wheels, higher stall torque converter, cut weight. I don't have a really good understanding of what a lock up torque converter does, but I think it's going to put you into the power band a lot sooner.
