made it home from Iowa City to the Chicago burbs in winter storm Saturn on F1 3 season tires. take that mother F'n nature! haha. seriously though driving it on Rt.59 the last 6 miles was scary...

33k mile one owner car. no mods besides a tasteful exhaust tip. the dealer just did the window tint when they got it. the thing is flawless inside and out.

at this point only planned mods are an srt grill badge, the stock kicker sub, MS1k 300whp tune, rear frame brace, tint the front windows, and ditch the chrome bucket headlights for some black bucket headlights with eyelids.

down the road maybe more (coilovers and a downpipe), but i want to put a cam in the Charger before that.

i still have the truck for a few weeks. the plate sticker on it is still good till the end of this month, so it has to be gone by then. i kept it cause i don't have winter tires for this car yet and i don't want to buy them till next winter.

honestly i pretty much stole the car at 14.9k. it was less than i was going to spend for the one i almost bought at carmax with similar miles by more than 3 grand.

yea. 285 horse stock. it's got a torque limiter because of torque steer in first and second gear from the factory though, so you don't get full power till 3rd gear. gonna have to get a tune to get rid of that.

Not sure what the driveline loss is, but after the tune it should be at 300 to the wheels. It only weighs like 3200lbs. Power to weight ratio is pretty good. It also has the charger police package brakes up front too. Putting the power down is the hard part.

when I went to the srt track experience I was following one of those for the last 5 miles or so on the way to the track and it was moving along pretty fucking good.

after putting 2 days of driving to work and back on the car i am liking it the more i get used to how it performs. since 1st and 2nd gear still have the torque limited by the factory tune, 3rd gear pulls when it gets into boost are really fun. it really makes me want to get that MS1k tune soon to get rid of that factory tune.

and yea... i'm already modding this one a bit... i put a SRT badge in the grill and ordered some stuff.

ordered-
1. mopar blue blow off plate (to reduce temperatures and sound nice)
2. bwoody front motor mount (to reduce torque steer)
3. bwoody check valve (to prevent boost leaks)
4. K&N intake (lets you hear the turbo more)
5. eyelids painted brilliant black.

That's a nice looking car I'll have to keep an eye out for it around Naperville You don't see too many Caliber SRT4s that's for sure. I'm hoping the Dart SRT4 does well whenever that launches.

That's a turbo world engine in the Caliber right? Odd that they never offered a lite turbo like in the PT would have made a nice Caliber R/T or Patriot/Compass TSI heh.

yea its the world engine but the srt4 block is different. it has sleeved cylinders and some other tweaks to be stronger.
