| So the one thing that really bothered me about my Jeep is the whole interior is black except the damn pillars and headliner. So I pulled the headliner today and pillars, going to have the guys at work who do the re upholstery do it in black suede. All the plastic pieces, where the seat belts go, and the home link I will paint with plasti dip. Headliner was easy to get out, the fucking sunroof shade was a major pita. Dont know how to get that back in without damaging the suede. Also doing the tailgate piece | |

that's gonna look sweet Shawn. I need to find a write up on how to remove and reinstall. I dropped the whole sun roof trying to get it out. I got it out using force, but getting it back in is going to suck. I'm thinking this time of opening sunroof and trying to go in from the top. | |

| Well our upholstery shop got busy as shit this week, so might not have everything back till next weekend. But anyway had my guy do the sunroof shade to see if I could get it back in. I managed to get it back in by drilling out some rivets on the rear sunroof frame where the sunroof motor is. After drilling out those rivets me and my brother had to pull on sunroof motor brace and gently guide the shade in to the track. Brace where I drilled the rivets out was put back with 1/2" self tapping screws. Passenger side was a mutha fucker to screw the brace back down, must have bent something. As long as my sunroof works I will be happy, wont know till all my parts are done. The way I did it is probably not the correct way, there has to be an easier way to get that fucking shade back in. | |
