| I got them from flashtech. when I'm in the car and the headlights are on, I can't notice any difference at all with the fogs on or off. I haven't used them by themselves yet, but i suspect the visibility is pretty bad.

| How many smd did you get? And do they have a lumens rating or anything for how bright they are? | |

| they are 24 smd each and I think they are called 5050 smds? I don't know what that means, but it was in the product description. i can't find any lumen numbers.

you need to buy a kit, and modify the bulb to fit the housing. We talked about it some in your headlight thread. | |

| it's cheaper and easier to just put some led bulbs in there. they don't do shit for light output, but mine match my hid low beams almost perfectly. I've heard that hid bulbs in halogen housings can melt the plastic, but I don't know if that's just internet bullshit of not.

| the HID fogs are great for light output though as well as looks... not sure about the housing melting... i installed a kit on my 09 v6, but i didnt have the car long enough to see them melt anything and I didnt have to modify anything either. Thats partially why i haven't done anything about my stock ones yet... I want to find me a set of 12+ SRT fogs and housing to replace my stock halogen ones. The SRT's look better in my opinion. | |

| They don't melt shit. I have been running hid fogs in all my vehicles since the Charger, including my wife's vehicles. No melting issues. Going to get some for the Durango once I buy a few things for my rig | |

| I think people say Hid's melt housing not led. I actually have those led'S in my fogs. Got them for free so used them. That the same place I order all my hid's from. Never had an issue | |
