Want a V8 so bad!

Ive been looking around on craigslist and am thinking of dropping a V8 in my car. this 3.5 aint cutting it... Anyone know how much that would cost to install?

Its a start and would need a little refreshing.

Or you could go lower miles and have a eagle you would need more to make it work like pcm and other stuff I think but that's all part of the game right

Why don't you just trade up to an R/T? You'll get better suspension more features etc? With the prices of used R/T's its a no brainer vs all the time and work you'd have to put in to swapping out the motors. JMO

Lots of work and money!!!! If you are a member of the Z, go on there and search for swapping a v6 for a hemi. Its not as simple as dropping the motor, trans and pcm in.

I know what you mean im in the same spot, but I think im goin to wait till the beginning of 2013 and trade it in for the v8

i traded up from the v6 to the v8.... much better way to go... and just overall easier..

sell it and pick up my car.........

With the MDS the gas mileage isn't that big a difference from the 6 to the Hemi.
