Plainfield Cruise Night- Tuesday

So who is going tomorrow?

i am. one of the dakota R/T forum members is coming. he is from Michigan but is in town for work training.

tomorrows theme is mopar night just so everyone knows...

I plan on going...I know a local guy with a Mopar 10 challenger that has suggested meeting up at Larry's Dinner 1131 West Lockport Street. between 4:30-5:00pm. Then going in as a group.

Anyone else able to make it at that time?

i might be in town before that... every time i have got there on time this year there is no normal spots and i have to get creative...

I have a review with one of the techs that is from 3 to 5 tomorrow. Will see if I can bump it up to end at 4.

The earlier we can get there the better, it was packed the first week, I didn't make it the second week. I might just come and park on the backstreet and walk around tomorrow.

Weather might be gross too.

Have to work till 4pm myself so 4:30-5:00 is best I can do myself.

Totally didn't realize that tomorrow is the 12th. I am going to email them to see if we can get down in the featured car area. Will post up if I get a response in the morning.

i don't remember ever seeing a feature car area there besides the tractors.

i talked to Brian about having a reserved spot for us all in one spot. he talked to his connections and got back to me and said he could do it if we got there early enough. but none of you seem like you can get there early enough so i told him to forget it.

i know Mike with the silver 300 with the lambo doors will be there early with me if he can. we talked about it last week.

also crystal what do you mean the weather might be gross? supposed to be 76 for a high and sunny... couldn't be more perfect...

Last I looked there was a chance of rain/ storms.

But I am probably wrong as usual.

it has said 0 percent chance for Tuesday since Sunday.

i think I too would be interested in taking the ride out there... wouldnt be able to start heading out there until like 5 though....

if there is a spot for a Ram i'll go ....

I just told them I am walking out at 3 pm. Haven't heard from the cruise people yet, and probably won't.

Ray there is a pay and spray place over by me if you want to wait and clean up when you get over here we can meet there and then you can follow me out.

And that is for anyone else that can make it at that time.

If you are coming off the interstate is on the left side of the road, its better to go down to the next light and pop a U there.

Will probably take me about 45 to an hour to get the car ready so if anyone wants to meet up from there be there by 330/345.

i just kinda want to get there at like 4:30 at the latest. you guys don't have to get there that early if you don't want. i have today off work.

They just wrote back and there is only reserved parking up towards the front and that is for the sponsor for the night. Tonight its Mopar night and its sponsored by Tuffy Auto Repair.

Hmmm wonder if they need display cars....

Im finished with my work already and wanna leave now but my boss is a dick.

Tim from Tuffy said we can park down in the sponsored area, said he can always use more cars. Trying to get all the details now.

OK he never got back to me so hopefully he does by time I get the car cleaned.

For those that have not been normally the sponsor for that week has the area closest to the main road, near the grass. As soon as I get there and can figure out where we can park I will post up on here. But if you get there before me the manger I emailed his name is Tim and he knows that some modern Mopars were going to be parking in the sponsored area. If they give you issues then just park wherever and we will find each other.
