Mod Night #1: ****DATE CHANGED TO APRIL 21 @ 2:00 pm****

We are home, thanks Team Headtripp! My wife's brand new shoes have a big hole in them from an ash, rotflmfao!!!!!!

Such a fun night! We had a blast! Such a great way to start off the season. Saw some old friends and met some new friends. Its gonna be a great summer.

Thanks to everyone that came out!!

Thanks Jackie and Vic for everything, food was great and we had a blast.

Thanks Crystal for meeting up to follow. The mac and cheese and cookies were great.

Jim the slaw and baked beans were great.

We met a lot of people, a bunch of great people with a lot of knowledge.

Leslie's Baked beans.......

Vic since you asked here this is the best I can get from her.

She starts with canned backed beans, yesterday it was Bush's best baked beans.
As I thought she does not really follow a set recipe. But she adds yellow mustard, onions, Alot of brown sugar and partially cooked BACON. She adjusts the amounts to her taste so you will need to do some trial and error to get the end you want. She did add that she drains a lot of the liquid from the beans first since they usually have much liquid, this is so they are not so runny once baked. The amount of time in oven is adjusted by eye too, I guess you can see them start to darken as the sugar caramelizes, but you do not want too dark.

Jackie and Vic thank you for opening your home to us all and thank you for having a son that is taking auto. Nick did a fantastic job on my car. Stops on a dime now and not one bit of shaking. And thank you to everyone that helped get the wheels off my pain in the ass car. You all went above and beyond.

Joey thank you for doing my lights, love them. Next will be the door pulls.

Kevin thank you for getting the tune loaded. Saying that I noticed a difference would be a great understatement. It really feels like a totally different car.

I pretty much decided on the way hope the route that I am going to be taking with the car, well looks wise. So as soon as I save up the dough the plan will be put into action.

Keep checking the calendar for the next one and cruise nights should be starting in May so hopefully we will all see each other more.
