did all of the lx cars use the same osram oem ballast? I'm trying to find a set of d1s ballasts if anyone has some or knows a place to find them let me know. I'd prefer new oem ones, but I don't want to pay 150 bucks a piece. How long does a ballast last? I've found used ones for around 70 bucks, but if they only last a yr I'd rather buy new. I stilIl haven't ruled out going d2s, but I'm looking for d1s for now. thanks,

bill

Don't remember which bulb is the factory one, but the expensive part of oem hids are the projector headlamps. That's why everybody does after market hids with the 9005 bulb. To fit your factory housings if you don't have the factory projectors.

got the housings, eagle eyes...I hope they don't suck
supposedly "lightly" used oem osram ballast
6000k extreme d1s bulbs
misc connectors, wire, relays, etc.
all I need is possibly the Can bus error eliminators but I have a headache from this HID shit. I'm into this project about 400 bucks and a bunch of time.

the housings are oem style, but are after market.
the ballast are oem
the bulbs are aftermarket, but really good ones. Oem didn't come in 6000k
so kind of oem, but not really.
