When I went the instructor asked me if this was all too much for me; after the first laps. I said huh? He said the lead driver said you were falling a little behind. I said oh, well I didn't want to get kicked out after the first lap; like at the gokart tracks. He said the leader will go faster if he thinks you can keep up. From that moment on I tried my best to run his ass off the course. I was glued to the leader and he just kept going faster and faster.

Well today was the big day and all I gotta say is DAAAAMN it was fucking awesome! I encourage everyone to check it out SRT owner or not! Had an absolute blast...maybe the best time of my life.
We did 4 events, 2 on the road course and 2 autocross style events. I would say the road course events were my favorite...hella fun, lots of speed and twisties. My top speed was 108 in the Challenger 392. I hassled Xenon to pay the 100 bucks to be my guest so he came along, took some pics, and got to ride with the instructors all day long. I'm actually a little jealous because they didn't do one on one in car instruction for the drivers. A little coaching here and there but it was more like follow the leader and try to keep up. Would do it again in a heartbeat! Kevin lemme know if you need me to fill in for ya on Sunday .
They had a really cool in-car video system they use for training that was on all the cars except the RTs and they gave us USB thumb drives to capture video onto. I'll post some vids up tomorrow..too tired to upload them right now. Here's some pics to tied you over.

SRT Track Experience. First event was autocross. My first time autocrossing, this is my one and only run through the course with a Jeep SRT8. These things have an incredible launch! So incredible that the speaker system has a tough time keeping up. Watch between the seats for a laugh...scared the crap outta me.

On the road course with the 300c SRT. Though not the fastest car in the fleet it proved to be one of the more fun cars to lap with, 2nd only to the Challenger 392.

Meet Grant...he drives fast! Grant was the instructor in the 300c SRT during the road course events. Here he is showing me how its done on the hotlap we got to take at the end of the day in the Challenger 392. I asked him if he was gonna make me pee my pants but the video capture unit didn't start till after that so it starts with him talking about taking a leak
