| Whose got the 09+ Black Charger R/T with the flat black hood (had some kind of aftermarket power dome hood), full black tinted tails, matte black trunk. Looked like stock 2009ish chrome 18s.
Saw you parked at the Menard's on Fort Hill in Naperville around 6:00ish. Carded you and as I pulled off saw your CAMM sticker on the rear window.
Anyway nice car! | |

| haha.....that would have been me. I was wondering who did that. I couldn't have been in there more than 15 minutes. Its embarrassing that you saw it with the chrome 18's. Unfortunately the wife and I had a little accident with the new rims and are now back with the powdercoater. And that is actually Tom's (IL Chaos) old hood. Thanks for the compliments. | |

| If you saw a tall guy with a cart full of anti-yellow jacket gear that was me!
I wasn't going to say it but the 18 inch chromies did look out of place! What kind of rims do you normally have? Powdercoated black I presume?
What kind of hood is that it has a nice look didn't notice the "power dome" style until I got closer.
jontoad -- which shop is that? I've never seen your SRT8 parked anywhere near you must hide it at the shop!

| Oh that's good to know. Do you have any opinion on the Hankook Ventus AS RH07? My selling dealer installed them prior to my purchasing the car. From what I can tell they are SUV-Light Truck touring tires.
They seem ok even in the rain but I have nothing to compare them to. They're sized the same as the stock Road and Track packaged cars from 2006 (235/55/18).
I've already learned the hard way that the stock lugs are garbage, changed to gorilla 91147.

| they are ok. obviously like you said they are not a performance tire. but for touring car driving on something as heavy as an SUV they will work perfect. its a solid all season tire. | |

| Yeah they seem decent for what they are intended which as you said isn't performance.
What is your favorite recommendation for an all season daily driver on the stock 18 inch wheel and in what size?
For my next set I want the jack of all trades that is a good performer in dry and wet and at least decent in the snow. I don't think I could convince my wife that an extra set of snow tires is needed, of course I haven't driving the Charger in the snow yet!

jontoad -- which shop is that? I've never seen your SRT8 parked anywhere near you must hide it at the shop! I've got a set of Magnum SRT rims that "were" a graphite color. But with the accident I have taken the opportunity to change the color. I'm going with a textured matte black. When done, they will look similar to the Option 5s (I hope). I know its not exact but I don't care. I just love the look of that finish and the style of the Magnum SRTs. Oh, and Dave at CPC Powdercoatings in Crest Hill is great!!! They do great work and will set you up with whatever you want. If they don't have the color, they can find it for you. (815)260-3124
