So should I get l.e.d bulbs for my painted taillights to see better? And will I need a resistor?that's to dartboy I got my old OEM tails back .since my l.e.d tails are screwed up.they will be be painted brilliant black transluscent will the leds be alot brighter so I don't get pulled over.

Yes they will be. Specially if you go with hyper white. Only your turn signals will need resistors

every led bulb i have tried was actually duller than stock bulbs in running light mode. they were brighter in brake or turn signal mode though.

I always had trouble with rear park and brake lights going out without resistors...better off buying a good aftermarket taillight with resistors already in place prolly last longer.
