Picked up some suede material and decided to try to cover my headliner. This was not easy and its not perfect but I like it. I will probably end up redoing it down the road but for now it looks good.

It is not perfect but I did it and if need be I'll redo it. I feel for those of you with chargers cause that is going to be a serious pain in the ass!

did you remove the headliner from the car? or did you do it while still inside the car?!? It would be a lot easier to remove the headliner from the car, that way you can get a nice tuck around the edge.... most headliners are like held in by a few clips, but its a bit tricky to take the headliner out of the car (have to remove it through the trunk..)

on the chargers you can not get it out through the trunk. the opening is way too small and the headliner will not fold "hotdog style"

you have to take it out the passenger side rear door folded "hamburger style" but you have to cut the foam supports to do it, and i don't think a non-sunroof car will be able to do it without some major creases or making relief cuts on the sides in the middle where your gonna fold it. with the sunroof headliner where you fold it will crease, but if you are covering it with suede it will not show the crease after it it wrapped and un-folded in the car.

if you search back i have a long thread about when i did mine.

the proper way to do it is to remove the windshield, that is the only way to do it if you don't want to fold it. i was not about to take out my windshield and i had an extra headliner to fuck with and wrap before i decided if i wanted to switch it first.
