Installed with the sleeve from the Bilsteins and removed the conical foam spacer to fit. (I thought an srt engineer crammed his sex toy in there at first) Set the car down and it's a little raked. I like the old school look, but isn't a raked car bad for drag racing? Should I remove the top rubber spacer or is it the srt springs that it's riding high on? The directions on the Lakewood site are translated from ancient Chinese, I think, lol.

are you saying you took out the rear isolator on the spring and its still too tall? don't remember a foam cone shaped part on the strut unless your talking about the bump stop.

Yeah the bump stop. I could run monster tires and it wouldn't rub now.

I know I had to trim mine when I put my coilovers on.

Crap, so that needs to be in there I take it. I just went for a ride and it's rough as a cob. I'll do the necessary trimming. That would explain the rough ride. What about the change in ride height? Springs too stiff for these shocks?

Trimmed off all but the last segment of the bump stop. Made a little difference. Not so harsh now. Maybe the ride height will settle some. I had no idea of what that thing was, lol.
