Extended warranty? Wouldn't that limit you to a Dodge Dealership, Dave? I'm having Mr. Norm's install my Southern Hotrod Nag1 HTCr trans pretty soon. I just had Southern ship it to Norm's.

My extended warranty is third party...anywhere thar is ASE certified that will work with them. Tim told me they don't do trans work. Install yes, but I need diagnosis and maybe repair.

I would still contact your dealership, as they would have a tranny shop that they use. If it's screwed wouldn't they just put a new one in? I'd call on it.

At around 1100-1300 rpm, cruising in OD, there's a low rumble you feel...like it's in OD at too low an rpm, or like a manual trans feels in too high a gear at too low rpm. Switch to auto stick and it disappears. I would call it mds drone, but it wasn't doing it when I first got the car. Talking to people, I hear it's the classic symptoms of lock up torque converter going bad. I say that like I know what it means, which isn't really true...I don't. That's why I want a trans specialist I can trust, do I don't get screwed with.

could be. also a bad mds solenoid, trans speed sensor, throttle position sensor, or crank position sensor could do that too.

5 days a week its stop and go, back and forth to the train station. Almost all 25-40 mph. Rarely get on it.

Okay bring out here to corn and romp on it 5-10min at a time with 15-20min cool downs at 55-60mph do this for a hour. (Or give it to me for hour and $15 for gas I'll bring the Ferrari puma's LMAO)

Note may not work, but I'm a firm believer that slow low rpm driving kills a car more than a spirited driver.

I've owned some "N*" .....

And not be a dick another reason for manual as far as traffic first/2nd gear leave some space and idle along, fuck everyone else, kinda saddens me it won't be offered on the new chargers

Exactly what my guy Brian said.

Assuming that's what it is...any concerns I should have about getting it run up on a dyno for a tune?

here i found it....

problem...

Quote :
I have a 2005 Dodge Magnum RT. Ever since 8000miles I have had a recurring problem with water in the transmission. Multiple attempts to fix, including, new Torque converter, valve body, multiple ATF flushes. At 84k miles, out of warranty, it happened again. After convincing the dealer, with a test of the ATF that found 2% water in it. The dealer, and Dodge, stepped up and repaired it for only $500 of my money. But I think the did a half ass repair.

They replaced 2 clutch packs B2/K2, the Valve body, Torque converter, all new seals, and new dipstick tube. Everything I know about Auto Transmissions, and Aamco says the same thing, is that all the clutch disks will have some damage from the water in the ATF. I have been having 50-100RPM increases in in RPM and a slight shudder when the RPM drops back down. This problem only happens when the car is cruising at 60-65mph, worse at 60mph.

solution...

Quote :
Well, TSB 21-03-008 sats water gets in from the DipStick tube seal. Chrysler wants you to replace Torque converter if necessary, clean valve body and flush trans.
