I-POD hook up? Empty

Is there a way to hook up an I-pod to the factory stereo that has Nav? I was told there is no aux. port on these to do so! This car has everything but that, and it sucks. My car is an '06 with the nav and Ves. Thanks.

You can either get the ipod adapter from mopar or get a "Lock-Pick" adapter. Either one will allow you to hook the ipod up to the stock Nav.

Yeah there are modules you can hook up either iPAC, Mopar (hard to come by), and iSimple. There are more as well. You could do a hard wire Aux hook up using parts from Radio Shack shown here : http://www.lxforums.com/board/showthread.php?t=244454 Also since you have VES already you can put a cord from the rear input on the unit to get sound out of the iPod. Like you already have an aux port just need the cables. Something like the 3.5 mm to RCA cables.

If I use the rear aux., can I control it from the front stereo then? I haven't even tried to use the ves yet since I bought it in Jan. That sounds simple enough. Thanks for the quick response!

No with the aux in the back you can only control the volume, you'll have to change songs on the iPod.
