| Does anybody here have a rig setup where you can attach it to the car and get rolling shots? I was thinking of buying parts and building one if nobody has one. It makes the car look like its going fast even though you take the shot at about 3 miles per hour. It also gives it a cool angle and can look great with the right background scene.

Cool concept though. Probably be a lot easier to just get someone in the car next to you to take the shot and leave the shutter open for a half sec.

True, but they are pretty stable plus u only go a couple miles per hour

| The other thing we can do is just pan. My new lens has an IS setting for panning shots. I'm sure after just a few tries we could get a few good shots out of 8 or 10 in burst mode. | |

| Panning from a moving car can take A LOT of practice, from my knowledge setting up the correct shutter speed Is a starting point. So if your doing 60 mph set it at 1/60 | |

I'm talking about setting up on the side of the road and having the car drive by and pan with it to keep the car in focus and blur out the background. I do it all the time at the race tracks. Takes a little practice, but great effects.

| It's a great idea but then again, it should be an open road with not a lot in the background so it's easier ,city streets suck since they're too cluttered and distract the focus of the car | |

| Yep. The faster the car is moving though the less that the background matters. It all get blured out so as long as you keep the car in focus, you're good to go. | |

| Anyone know of a good cam mount for inside the car? I just ordered a Cannon S-95 and I don't know which mount to order. I think JT has a good one, but I don't know what kind he has. | |

| My car wont be ready this weekend. My rotors are warped and are all ripped up on the inside. I just ordered new pads and im hoping to have the rotors cut tomorrow. If for some reason, they cant be cut then I will have to buy new ones and that would take another few days. Even if I can get them cut, im not putting the old pads back on cuz they will be groved like the rotors and probably mess them up again. But if people want to get together, I wouldnt mind coming out and taking some pictures cuz I could use the practice. Ill be bringing the hoopty. | |

| Heading out to the Bears Expo at Soldier Field tomorrow. Hampton, Dent and quite a few other ex-bears are going to be there since none of the current team is allowed. Should be fun. Supposedly they allow people on the field to kick field goals and other activities. | |
