| Retards in the parts department. YAY!
I call in to try and get a couple of valve cover baffles so I don't have oil getting into my PCV or breather and they put me on hold for 15 minutes just so they can ask "What's a valve cover baffle"?
I'm sorry, but if you're the parts department manager and you don't know what a valve cover baffle is, you shouldn't be the parts department manager. Also, don't talk to me in a condescending tone like I'm the dumb ass and then hang up on me.
Sunnyside just lost my business.

| I used to go to Schaumburg Dodge and wasn't entirely happy with them. Been going to Zeigler in Schaumburg now (anyone know what happened to Schaumburg Dodge?) and they seem okay.
My warranty runs out in September, so I don't think I'll be visiting any of them any more.

| I don't think there are any decent Dodge dealerships that are relatively close to McHenry. I've been stuck with Sunnyside and Viking... Sigh. | |

| I ordered my SRT mats from Viking. Later learned that they had a horrible reputation. | |

| A buddy of mine who also has an R/T had a few things stolen from his center console when he dropped his truck off for warranty work at Viking.
There was a guy who got ripped off something fierce by Viking. Used to sit out side the dealership with his Magnum and tell people to go elsewhere. Wonder what he's doing with his time now that Viking is closed?

Must of had one rich wife or a trust fund. I'm sure he crapped a solid gold brick when Viking announced it's closure.

| That is odd about sunnyside, Rudy works in parts I use to work with him 10 years ago at CLCP, he should know his stuff pretty well. He is a good guy.
I think sunnyside is a great dealership, I know lots of peeople that bought cars there from my mopar club, they do not upcharge any of there cars from what i have seen & heard like other dealers will.

| my local dodge gives me a price brake on parts but if i go up to them and give them a part number they stare at me like I'm speaking another language. its their freakin part numbers but they can't look stuff up in their computers by them...
i needed a center cap for a customers car and they were like what kind of car is it for. I'm like its on a few of your cars here is the part number. no dice, had to pick a random car it fits and then he pulled it up. then he goes yea thats on a bunch of 05-2010 cars. I was like no shit thats what i just told you.
true story. | |

| I should update this only based on my last dealing with Sunnyside. The purchase of my hood went very well and they did not gouge me on the price either. They were pretty helpful with getting it to my painter also granted it was less than a block away but they were nice enough to get it there. | |

Cool Glad to hear. I know most service departments are hit or miss depending on the weather. All service departments are almost in a differnt world as the sales department. Ive worked and delt with dealerships for over 15 years, sunnyside has an owner Bob and Sales Manager Brian are car guys, family owned and are great to talk to. If something wasnt right id know they would do what ever it takes to help. Also if anyone goes to get parts at sunny side just say your with CMC the mopar club and Mark or Rudy will give you the club discount. Ive also heard good things about gurnee dodge.
