X2, what do those cost. (Holden) depends which one you get. most are priced right around where a G8 was. the one in the picture is a special edition with the same supercharged motor as that caddy and i think its like 50g.

| I want the caddi myself, you can pick them up around 59K MSRP is 63 and some change.
As far as the maloo it's not a wagon and it would be alot cheaper to just Restore a EL maino that and importing it would be a bitch since it's NOT usa emissions compliant...
Also thats an HSV maloo r8, never came supercharged but you could get the LS3 in one which was over 430hp...
Also that is not a corvette engine the "LSA" is specifically for the the CTS-V's, and you for got to mention the BAD-ASS reacaro seats

- based on the local market Chevrolet Ute SS (a derivative of the Australian Holden Maloo) – think a modern day interpretation of old Chevy El Camino SS 454. Under the hood this ’ute (utility, or car based pickup in Aussie and SA parlance) sports a version of the LS9 supercharged 6.2-liter small block V8 found in the current Corvette ZR1.
In the Super Ute it’s rated at 565 horsepower and 590 ft-lbs of torque; enabling this car/truck thingy to scoot to 60 mph in just 4.4 seconds and reach a top speed of 175 mph. Other changes from the standard Ute SS include bigger brakes and performance tuned suspension with premium Bilstein dampers for improved handling; plus an available limited slip differential.
Finished in black and sporting massive 20-inch wheels shod in monster Bridgestone Potenza rubber, 245 section tires up front and 285s out back, it definitely looks the business.

| A version of the ls9 who are they BS'ing it's an LSA...
1. The lsa makes that much more power in tunning
2. if it's and ls9 it's super detuned
3. it may be little that separates the LS9 and lsa, but the things seprates are significant and the price tag reflects that.
I'd rather have the W427

I'd rather have the W427 1. it might be the LSA i think contrary to what the article about the car says.. 2. it actually claims 9 more HP than the CTS-V but i think it would be that motor not the LS9

| I dobut it.
That alot of detuning lol
LS9 Hand built Forged rods and pistons Dry Sump Oil system Individual Oil squiters per cylinder A bigger Blower and a bunch of other stuff believe it or some thing like 25% of the interanlas are shared.
550+hp on pump gas = no sweat But 630-650Hp on pump gas = Pita
Not to mention these engines have to last 100,000 miles with that being said financially it would make a lot more sense to use an LSA with a tweked tune.

| its not a lot of detuning. the LS9 would make less power NA than the LSA does. it has lower compression and a blower cam. a LS9 with a smaller blower would make right around the same amount of power as they claim.
none of the other upgrades you listed that they do to the LS9 make more power, they just up the durability of the motor on bigger boost.
