Prada Spec X's

Just a heads up if anyone is trying to get these tires I know at least according to Discount Tire they are on nationwide backorder for 8 to 10 weeks.

Hopefully what I am putting on instead tomorrow will be just as good.

I am having to put some sort of Goodyears on. The paperwork is in the car so I don't have the extact name. I saw a pic of them and the tread pattern is close to what the Prada's are so I am hoping they will be almost as good.

Everything else was a ton more expensive and that just is not an option right now. So these will be my winter tires and rims and when I get $$$ I will get the black rims I want and a new set of Spec x's will go on them. Really liked those tires.

The front rim on the car is bent so its always been a problem child and I have been having issues with that tire being very low but today it was just done, would not take any air. They said the tire was leaking and so was my sensor. So they looked at all the tires and its time. I have put a ton of miles on them in the last two years (two trips back to the east coast didn't help) so I knew it was getting close to time.

Its really weird driving on a spare, car feels like its got a gansta lean to the right.

Two years. But I have put over 40k on them at least.

But yeah I know it seems like it was just a few months ago.

Sucks that you couldn't make it to my location... I could have seen if I could have got the specx from another source...or gotten you a better price... I need to check our oe wheel program to see if I can get you a cheap oe wheel to replace your bent one. FYI the Goodyear rs-a's suck in snow.

Sorry to hear you didn't get the tires you wanted. As far as your rim you can give Wheels America a call. I'm sure they can fix you bent rim

Jon there was no way it would have made it to you unless it was on the back of a flatbed. You know for sure I will be there for tires on the new rims.

If these suck I don't know what I am going to do but I am kinda stuck.

Damn that sucks...Are you sure you have had those tires after two years? I'm pretty sure I got mine before you and I got mine just last year?

I got them after you because I remember looking at them at the mod day we had at Adam's old shot.

I saw them when they took them off the car they were done totally.

Has it really only been a year then?

Yup because I got the new Tires when I got the new rims from JT....maybe a 1 1/2 years at the most b/c I got them in the summer right before last winter. Damn thats a lot of miles you put on! Mine still have plenty of tread!!

26 miles one way almost all highway to work, most of the time they were on I was working 6 days a week. Two trips back to the east coast as well.

Oh well they are tires and they wear out.
