Planning planning planning

For those that are new around here we try not to let the snow stop us from getting together during the winter. I am going to take November and December off from planning because I want to take a little break and I won't be around a lot of December. Will start back up again in January with the gatherings.

So the purpose of this thread is to post up suggestions on gatherings you would like to see, this does not have to be limited to the winter months. Going to shows and mod nights during the summer is fun but there are other things we can be doing. So please post up your suggestions in here and I will see about making it happening, and as always anyone is welcome to plan something and post it up, doesn't always have to come from me or one of the other mods.

I will also start posting 2011 shows as soon as my contacts start sending them to me. If you have a show you want to post but you don't want to do it please email it to chicagolandareamodernmopars@gmail.com and we will get it posted up.

busy busy busy If you aren't doing anything on Nov. 20-21 come to the Muscle Car and Corvette Nationals in rosemont at the Donald E, Stevens Convention Center. A little bird told me that Mr. Norm's will be unveiling their first Mr. Norm's Dodge Charger SRT prototype car. At this show!! They will start producing CHARGERS in 2011!!!! YES!

We can do that Shawn. Do you want to to it in conjuction with the show for Brandon's football team or separate? I wouldn't mind with because then the money is going to something good instead of buying me a hood, I mean to CAMM.

I wouldnt mind doing it with the football league. But only if they give me full control over the show, I wasnt to crazy about the voting system. Also if I can get full control, I can turn it in to a 100% Camm show and we can do it better!

the bowling night was great. we have to do that again for sure!

Bowling is on my list as well but a little more organized this time.


Shawn if you can get control we are ok with doing the show that way. If not we can go another route.

I'm all for bowling! My favorite sport...and pretty much the only one I'm good at...LOL

I have to be there this year. One year later and I am part of Mr. Norm's. My car will be debuted there this year. On display right along side Mr. Norm's cars. I have been asked to allow them to use my Charger as the prototype for the new Mr. Norm's Charger GSS. It will look quite a bit different soon. It will be entered in the Mr. Norm's Grand Spaulding Dodge Registry as the first Mr. Norm's Dodge Charger GSS prototype car. They will be building Chargers next year!!!

OMG that is SOOOO awesome Tom. Will have to figure out a day and plan to have a group come down.

Vic and I were thinking of having the "Chili Cook-Off" at our house this year on January 2nd. The Bears play the Packers that day @ Noon. Seemed like a good day to have it.

I will help out with whatever I can. With my new job being a tad stressful I'm only going to be taking one class a semester for now until I get settled so I will have some time over the winter.

How does a CAMM Spring Picnic sound? Maybe at Starved Rock?

Here's one..........CAMM Bike day.........depending on what we have more of, maybe do either a mountan bike ride somewhere, ir a downtown road/lakeshore path ride.......I would love to do that!!!!!! I am good for either....I have a road and a mountain bike......although, depending on who would come, I might take the MTB downtown......slows me down that way.....LOL
