Base Challenger: 305 HP/268 torque 3.6L V6
Challenger Rallye: 305 HP/268 torque 3.6L V6
Challenger R/T: 379 HP/410 torque 5.7L V8
Challenger SRT: 475 HP/460 torque 6.4L V8.

im not too impressed with that number on the SRT horsepower. but I'm sure tuners will put em over 500 and the improved suspension geometry sounds cool.

not sure how i feel about them having MDS on the 6.4L

yes it can, but magazines don't do that for tests and it can make for some odd reviews. i guess i shouldn't care about that though.

The SRT isn't exactly a car thats made for gas mileage. throttle lag or responsiveness due to mds turning on and off sucks on a performance car. so why even have it as an option...

it makes me think even with more power and better suspension dodge still thinks its more of a "touring" car than trans am racing series style muscle car.

No, but me personally, I feel a better response with it turned off.

yea ,i turned mine of too it feels like it responds quicker......
