Sept 15 Wed Wacky Wednesday Race for $25 5-10pm

I'm going again next week. Anyone that wants to join me, post up and get a gang together. If I leave my house (Marengo) at 2:30 I can make it easy by 4:00 for a 1 hr. cool down before it opens.
Make a couple passes and grab something to eat and let the car chill. If the temps are cool, 30-40 min. between passes is enough time to wait. It's race season at last!

im actually thinking of going on tuesday... for street tires only... i will see if i can go on wednesday as well...i have hannah though so i dont know how many passes i will be able to make...maybe i will go to spectate that night...

Keep this thread fresh, I may just go up there straight from work next week. Maybe I will run my tahoe down the track!

I have some I picked up off another truck owner, already paid for. Just trying to get a day/time to pick them up...

I actually have to work Wednesday (WOOHOO!) so we'll have to see. It's actually not that far from Gurnee, so maybe Vic and I can meet up there????

Well, my set of DR's fell through... Have a set of 285 street tread I can run, see what happens. What time you folks heading up?

Not getting a real good feel about my tire set up. The 285's I put on are not full of grip (falcons) I wish I would have left my dunlops on now... Well well see on Wed eh?

I picked up some used Nitto dr's and I love 'em. I ran 26* last week and I'm pretty sure they hooked. I needed someone outside to watch the launch and listen. They are a hella better than my street tires for sure! All I heard was a small squeal on the line and a chirper patch in second. I love the new blue top noids on my trans.
