yeah... all done.

i was a bit dissapointed with the seafoam smoke screen. I saw a bit but nothing like what I've seen in vids from other people.

taking off the throttle body and getting a good clean on the back of the butterfly makes me feel better. hopefully with the catch can installed it'll stay cleaner... now i've just gotta look at that damn EGR....

I also got a new nose badge (black anodized R/T) but was under the impression i would have to remove the grille in order to get back there to get the old one off and was looking for some kind of honeycomb grille to put on at the same time.

Grill doesn't have to come off to change badge. Remove the radiator cover and you should have access to the nut that holds the badge in place. Darty can help you with grill.

yeah, i checked the LXforum knowledge base for the nose badge earlier this morning... i recently replaced the one off my steering wheel and just thought it was stuck on there... didn't want to make the same mistake with the nose.

so then what's the process for the grille change? i have the stock "louvered chrome" and i'm just looking to change that to something honeycomb-ish. i've seen that it just looks like 4 different sections to remove and replace. it isn't just as simple as taking the nose off and popping them off?

When I changed out the grill on The Lady I just unbolted the grill and replaced it with the nose in place. Helps if you have small hands.
