I love the idea and tried to do this last year but it never worked out.

Picking a date, we will not know what movies are playing until the week of so its going to be a crapshoot.

The movies start at 8 pm so if we get there when the box office opens we will have a much better chance of parking together. Bring food and snacks and we can all chill out before the movie. When I went people were using the speakers and sitting outside of their cars so I guess that works just as well. Iron Man on my speakers was pretty bad ass though.

I am going to email them about group rate and see if we can't get a area roped off. Would be cool to have all of the halo's going as people are coming in, kinda mini car show. Will see what they say.

Sounds like a plan!! I don't know about the part about bringing food. The drive in is like white castle. You have to eat their food just to complete the experience. LOL

Oh totally it was fine. We brought in food from Scooby's for the first round then between the first and second movie hit the stand.

Absolutely! It's like going to a Cubs game, and eating Taco Bell before you go in. Gotta eat the grub they serve up!

vic usually grills some burgers and puts them in our cooler! Dems real goooood!

Its a firm date I just can't make it now, unless something changes, but I am not moving it again. I will post up all the details for guys still though. They will post the movies for the weekends on the 30th so check back then for details.

Took my son to the McHenry drive- in a couple weeks ago and he loved it, I definatley will come.

I still cannot make it so if anyone goes have fun. Will try to do this again towards the end of October unless it gets too cold but for sure will try to plan a few next year.

Definitely have no desire to see that first movie, but the second one might be good. I dunno....wish there was a better movie selection.

Yeah that is the only thing with them you are kinda stuck when it comes to movie choices.

I'm with inked... who's all going and where is everyone parking?? It's not really about the movies is it?? It's just a chance to meet people. I know the second movie is getting good reviews. Anyone set a meeting time??

Since I cannot make it now I will leave it up to you guys to pick a meet up time and all that jazz. Last time I went we all met down the street at Scooby's and the all rolled in together.
