I switched out my 9145s for 9005s. And that hell of a lot brighter. And apparently while driving, it was annoying enough for someone to flash me. So I know I did a good job. Very Happy Also while I was down there I removed that plastic piece next to the bottom of the radiator.

Nothing at all. They slid right in. Like butter. And they were cheap ones I had laying around. I could only imagine with Silverstars. But uhh I did try 9006, lows will not go in. The 9005s, high, did.

keep an eye on them... the higher wattage might not play nice with the housing/wiring harness especially if you let them sit on while idling or not moving for long periods of time

Yeah I know I kept that in mind, i don't really drive with my fogs on for no reason. I did it cause I have a few dark areas around me. So it would help me. But ain't nothing wrong gettin behind an ahole for driving like an ass.

HID's are really the ultimate in lighting, if they're done right. Get it wrong and they can be a nightmare.

Hmm yeah, I don't like halos..... as blasphemous that sounds. I think the cars are great without them. Don't get me wrong cool, but not worth the time to me. Aside from the the horror stories I hear about people and their halos, be it ccfl or led. Heck I'll even stay away from aftermarket HIDs cause of the problems they can cause. But yeah....thats just me.

It's not the lighting solution, it's the cheap kits. Pick the right components and they are bullet proof!
