2nd Annual Jennings Terrace Car Show

The 2nd Annual Jennings Terrace Car Show will be held on the grounds of Jennings Terrace on Sunday, May 23, 2010, from 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM ( weather permitting ). This fun event will include DJ music and the Jennings grill will be fired up for hungry car fans along with a bake sale hosted by the Jennings Terrace Auxiliary and buffet breakfast

Registration is from 8 am to 12:00 pm
Show runs from 8 am to 3:00 PM
No entry fee.

Yeah I am sure there will be some "old timers" there that had some pretty bad ass rides in their day. Would be nice to show off the "future generation."

Ok need opinions. They have a wish list of things they need for the home on their site. I was thinking about putting together a box to take to them when we go to the show. I know its all sorts of last min but I think it can happen.

Here are some of the things. If anyone is interested in helping out as well just let me know, pm me or something and let me know how you would like to help out.

Daily-need items for Residents' well-being:
- Fragrance-free moisturizing lotions
- Tissues, hand wipes/Purell
- Combs & brushes
- Lip balm & lipsticks
- White socks for men & women
- Depends
- Large boxes of tissues
- Body wash
- Shower/body powder
- Shampoo
- Disposable razors
- Ladies undergarments (size 18 & 20)
- X-Large ladies shirts

Activity Department items for Residents' enjoyment:
- DVD movies
- Music CDs from the 30's and 40's
- HP 110 Tri-color inkjet print cartridges
- Photo printing paper ( 4" x 6' )
- Jumbo & dry erase markers
- Word find books

That is a good way to get the Camm name out.

What I was thinkin plus its a nice thing to do.

Heck yes. There is a hooters at the mall so we can hit that after the show if that raises the bar for anyone.

I think I am going to have to bow out of this one. Too much to do around the house and I need a whole day to get things done.

If anyone goes have fun. We will have to keep this one on the radar for next year and try to make it a big showing for them.

I think that hooters is also having a show on the same day. My buddy just called me and asked if I wanted to go to a hooters car show in aurora

yea hooters is having a show that day.

i'm going racing at maywood park that day too.

Yep the Hooters show is on the calendar. Those are all double k shows (rookies twilight show people).

Double K isnt as nearly as bad as Black Dog. I know we got stiffed, but they let the people vote.
