Well since I am still new here, how about a look at my Charger?

Ive removed the headlight and taillight tints since I have gotten the car last Monday (Jan 11th)



And it needs a sister tail pipe!

Looks good, V. I wonder if the dealer or the factory put that pin-stripe on.

You've only had the car nine days? I know you want another tail pipe, but what else do you have in store for it?

Nothing really huge in store for my car. Other than a set of pipes, and I would like to get the factory navigation dash bezel for it so I can install my Pioneer double din. Oh yeah, it needs a CAMM sticker too!

And I actually bought my Charger from my job. I work at Castle Honda in Morton Grove. I saw it come on to the used car lot fresh where it sat for a couple days. Then it was sent to our location for our used car inspections. It sat there for the rest of that week until it returned and sat for another couple weeks. I asked to take it for a test drive, and the rest is history. Carfax shows I am the 3rd owner, and that this car was a rental! Hopefully the customers that rented my car treated it properly! After some time it was sold at an Indiana auto auction (as the rental company was in Lombard,IL) and brought to a dealer in Chicago. Some time later, it arrived at Castle Honda to now be in my ownership as the first vehicle I am financing! Ugh, here come the payments!

Oh and yes, black cars and winter, DO NOT MIX!

So I was actually thinking a little bit more, and I saw Kaotic's 08 SE. I LOVE that grill that he has with the old school emblem. But I dont want to be a copy cat

You didn't say how many miles it has on it, but I'd definitely change the oil first thing.

Oh hahah sorry! Well it had 56,800 when I picked it up. Now that it has been a week, and I have a job 30 miles away that I have to drive to for one more week it and now has 57,600. The oil was changed at the used car inspection location, and at 60,000 I plan on doing the oil change (going to run Mobil 1 synthetic), transmission fluid and filter, and also I would like to replace the rear diff fluid. I've noticed after a few days with the car that when you just cruise with it at like 35-40mph, you hear a shutter noise on any type of road. I have adjusted tire pressures first and that didn't seem to make a difference. I am guessing that the fluid hasn't been changed in its time. The brakes were done in September of 09 and that was logged in the carfax.

It's nice to work at a shop that allows you to use their lifts!
