| Synthetic. Royal Purple 5W-20. Conventional oil has a ton of wax and crap in it. | |

| back in the day when i used to manage a jiffy lube or two, i used conventional in my car, I still have a 97 grand withh 125000 miles on it, granted it is no hemi but is it worth the money to spend two times as much per oil change and our charger runs 20K miles per year. thats alot of money. but at the same time i've always followed and exceeded the manufactures recomendations for services. | |

It might be pulling harder. Its a much better oil than conventional and it helps free up some HP, not much but some.

No, I am definately loopy.....just not about the oil making a difference.......I drive a pickup and roas....er..."race" ricers for the fun of it.......oh and at a cruise night over the summer...there was a pack of ricers that kept ricing up and down the road....every time they went thru revving their fartboxes, I would rev my truck...flowmaster....they got pissed.then the guy in front of me caught on...but he had a buick GN drag car race fuel and straight pipes.......damn, that thing was loud....they didn't drive thru again after that...LOL

| When you guy use synthetic how often do you change the oil? with the lifetime powertrain warranty, I would assume that I cannot go longer than 6000 miles because the owners manual says at no time to exceed 6k miles between oil changes. | |

| Mobil 1 synthetic.
As for changes, I drive hard and make a lot of short trips (I only live 4.5 miles from work) so I change every 3,000 miles unless the oil change light comes on before that.
I also use Mobil 1 in my mom's Chrysler....which I do 5,000 mile changes on, unless the oil change indicator comes on before then.

Hey, If you get a chance, check out our QuantumBlue Lubricants from BND Automotive LLC. We can custom blend an oil for you that is good for 10K so you won't have to change as often, and it out performs Mobil 1 in wear and dyno tests so you are gaining, not losing anything. www.bndautomotive.com Regards, Brian BND Automotive LLC 440-821-9040
