so long story short i got 2 potenza's for my rears due to a screw, and i don't have enough to get the fronts now. my boss has a couple of potenza run flats that he can't use and offered them to me for a 100 bucks, barely used. will these work with tpms, or can there be an issue?

I don't see it being an issue bro. The tire really has nothing to do with the TPMS. Cause the sensor is located only at the valve stem... I'd say do it!!! If ya want them mounted let me know!!!

yea they will work. like Adam said.

on a side note i would rotate them to the front of your car. runflats have a real stiff sidewall that is great for cornering but horrible for traction tires. traction tires need a bit of a flex to hook on the rear of the car. you might feel the bumps in the road a little more due to the sidewall transferring more road feel to the suspension, but they will work and your car should feel a little better in the twistys.

Yeah, shouldn't be an issue.. They still use air which is what the TPMS is monitoring.. Now, I'm not sure if the TPMS will go off if you have a problem though considering the run-flats are automatic..

TPMS will still trigger. they read the tires pressure inside the tire. older Scions and Toyota's wont trigger because they are an indirect system that works on tire revolutions but ours is a direct system that reads real time tire pressures. Very Happy
