Very nice pics! My camera also hates night time. What I do is just adjust for a slightly longer shutter speed and turn the flash off. It makes the pics come out much better than with the flash on.

Here is an example....
This first pic I took in Aperture Priority mode and had the aperture at f5.3 with a 1/60 shutter speed at ISO 100 and I used my built in flash....


This second pic was also in Aperture Priority mode at f5 but this time I adjusted the shutter speed to 1/6" and kept the flash off. The Auto ISO adjusted to 1600 so that helped with the light but the longer shutter speed also helped out a lot....


I always noticed when I use the built in flash indoors, the pictures always come out darker than they would if I kept the flash off and just used a longer shutter speed.

yeah, I know. My hands arent steady enough for that. I have an anti vibration lense and still get camera shake sometimes...and Im anal rententive about things like that. lol I have an amazing external flash...its just a battery hog. anyhow. ps...joey....

Same here, I got a big external flash but I didnt want to take it out and look like a Japanese tourist, lol. Yeah I love that hotdog pic, lol.

Dude I remember the one off of Indian River and that first red light you go to coming from Lynnhaven. People would get read ended there all the time. Nice to see they got rid of them.

Yeah man, they got rid of them last year...basically said it was to much like entrapment.
