| I may be in the market for some new tires for the stock 20's does anyone have any reccomendations? I really don't like the Goodyear Eagle RS-A's that came from Dodge. I have some Eagle GT's on another car and love them so far, but Goodyear doesn't make them in the 245/45 size. I can do to a different size like a 255/35 but that will give me tife that is 1.7 inches smaller in diameter. I MAY try having the tires sipped at the tire shop since I may be able to go to the end of next summer with them. These tires seem to break loose way to easily on the road when it's wet. Any ideas are welcome. | |

if you use them year round get the yokohamma parada specX's they come in 245/45/20 and 275/40/20. go 245 all around or 275 on the rear but the r/t wont clear a 275 on the front.

great tires for the street, not for the track. i have the same ones. I'm thinking Pedders. The ass drops on launch. Get the pedders set to launch at zero. Should do the trick.

| I just put Yokohama Parada Spec-X's on my car and I am very happy with them. They are really good in the wet, don't know about snow yet. The road noise is a minimum and they look really good on the car. I got them in 20".
Jontoad is the man when you need tires, I am sure when he is on again he will chime in.
Good luck with whatever you end up with.

Oh, sorry I was typing outloud, lol. Pedders makes bushing kits for the LX platform cars. Makes them ride and handle like the Mercedes that they are underneath the Dodge body.

| has anyone sipped their tires? I just sipped the tires on our Explorer and the tires for the charger we use in the winter (they are not snow tires) as a little experiment to see if we (me and the wife) can notice a difference. anyone had experiance with sipping? | |

i sipe about 10 sets a day. i never have any bad feedback on it besides excessive noise on some tires. we have videos in the store you can look at on the computers that show braking tests in wet and snow that show up to 33% better stopping distance over non siped tires. that being said ill say this. i siped the bfg all terrains i had on my old f-150 a long time ago and noticed they were great in the wet and snow. on any performance car like my SRT or my Dakota R/T i wouldn't sipe the tires. they way i drive sipping would tend to chunk a bit. burnouts and such are not good on siped tires. so for moms minivan its awesome, for dads Porsche not so much.
