I always wondered about this... Now I know.

From SRT Engineers on chargerforums regarding 6.1 Hemi
"Electronic throttles unfortunately have some delay compared to cable throttles that everyone is used to. The engine is also cammy with a torque hole in the 3000 rpm range which gives the impression of a bog."

Still not sure what they mean by "torque hole"..... Maybe Matt can explain Very Happy

Thats what happens when you have drive by wire rather than your cable wire controlling the throttle plate.

From what I have been told is that a Predator will take care of this lag,but yea hopefully Matt can explain better

torque hole just means it doesnt make much torque at 3000rpms for some reason.

It's all in the tuning, my friend...

By the way, I have magic fingers...

Tuning will make the delay of the throttle pedal better.

For instant response a good CMR tune and a Sprint Booster seem to be working out quite well on my SRT.

It plugs into the throttle pedal assembly and the harness gets plugged back into it. Increases responsiveness. Great for launching hard, passing in traffic, weaving in traffic, etc..

Not sure as I bought mine used from a local guy who got rid of the Jeep for a CTS-V.
Possibly look on Performance Autowerks site as that's where he got it.
