They must of lied to your friend if you can see clearly through 35%.50% is lighter than 35%.
thanks Hemimags24 atleast I know what I have on the back now. |

| Didn't get the chance to call any of the suggested places today, a little under the weather. _________________ Crystal 2014 Dodge Durango SXT - stock for now 2007 Dodge Charger R/T - has some stuff done to it You Tube Channel https://www.youtube.com/c/ChicagolandAreaModernMopars

| I planned on getting my fronts tinted on friday and my friend said the tint shop that tinted his car said they know about the new law and I could put as dark as 35% on the fronts so instead of 50% I thought I would go with 35%.But before I do this I figured I would call some of my friends and family that are police and ask them did they know that the law on tints changed and none of them knew about it and said they would ask there co-workes etc when they get to work tomorrow and suggested I wait before tinting them. |

| A quick question, I'm trying to read the law and going back and forth between the sections, do we have to buy a sticker for the license plate or if we stay within the guidlines in section a-5 we don't need one right? |

Ok, so i know this is an old thread.. but as i recall, as long as you don't go any darker than 35% all around, you don't need a sticker. The sticker would only apply to service vehicles (buses, limos, municipal) who have tint darker than 35% |

| Damn, was that question really lingering out there since November? Sorry, Dan! Tom is right, 35% all around is legal. |

No, 35% is good for you all, too. It just has to be the same on every window. Talk to Motor. |

| It's 50% if you have darker in the rear. 35% on every window is legal. |

| i used a guy named Jeff, he owns TInt-to-You. he's been doing tinting for 20+years, auto, commercial and residential. lifetime warranty on the tint and labor. his number is 708-906-0290. he has a heater to heat up the garage if needed. he is opening a shop in tinley and came out to take a look at one of the cars he did because i wasn't sure if the water spots would dissapear (they did). So he took more time to come back out to my house to check the work. |

| There is a tint place on Odgen across from the Dodge dealership (not the big one the smaller one closer to downtown naperville) that I know a few people have gone to and they were happy. Can't remember the name of the place, its right next to Mini Cooper and a bbq place if that helps. _________________ Crystal 2014 Dodge Durango SXT - stock for now 2007 Dodge Charger R/T - has some stuff done to it You Tube Channel https://www.youtube.com/c/ChicagolandAreaModernMopars
