Need Help!!!

So I got an amazing deal on an SRT body kit, front bumper, rear bumper and side skirts for around a grand, painted.

Next week I am supposed to go inspect, pay and have them installed.

I have read other charger forums and definitely get the feeling that the consensus is that as long as you don't put SRT badges on your car its not "up badging" and if you have seen pics, you know i proudly display the R/T on my car.

With that being said I am still hesitating on going through with it... I am worried I will regret it if I have to answer 100 times a show "no its not an SRT"

I love the look and want a body kit...

What do you guys think?

I think you do what you like and leave the RT badges on.

Make your car look like you want it.  I have a SRT hood and replica rims but no SRT badges.  I don't even have my R/T badges on it anymore. I like how Dodge made the SRT's look and if I would have known more when I bought my car I would have bought a SRT.

All the shows I have been at not one time have I been asked if its a SRT.  But my hood is always open so for those in the know one look at my engine bay tells you its not the 6.1.

Yeah totally do it, I had an SRT front fascia on my old 6, and not that I was aware, nobody ever said anything, I just had the Charger script badge on the front grill, but like everybody has said... no srt badge no problem. The R/T badge is a good idea, then IF anybody says anything, just point to the R/T emblem, and hell.... if they are dumb enough to keep on keepin on then well that conversation is worth walking away from LoL

Even if you put the SRT badges on it, wouldn't bother me.  It's your car. Hell, mine has a 2.7L.

Agree with the rest, as long as you don't slap SRT badges on it you're good.

Wheels don't count it is a pain in the butt to fill those so if it says SRT there who cares.

There are some folks so anal about it that they don't like non R&T cars sporting a red R/T badge... that's extreme. If Dodge didn't build the car you want feel free to improvise.

I really like the R&T goodies on my car but they work much better with the Challenger SRT suspension, I almost feel like I'm building my own Mopar 06

as long as your not putting an emblem on my car I could give a fuck. Don't worry about what someone else thinks. If you want srt badges, go for it. I saw a picture of a mustang with srt emblems on it once. that made me smile.

Well, long story short i backed out, mostly due to the actual condition the parts were in when I got up there to inspect them.

Anyway, on to the next project

For that price I questioned it myself. Oh well, I'm sure you will come up with something else. You have done a great job so far
