Stateline Shakedown Index and Midwest Index

For those not on FB there are 2 races this weekend at Byron. Sat. Stateline Shakedown has it's first ever race with 2 indexes. !0.80 and 10.20. Nice cash prizes and trophies. Sun. is race 5 of Midwest Index. I will be planning on racing both days in 10.80. Come out and watch the action. Race your own self on Sun., there are plenty of classes to run a stock or modified hemi in. Or just watch. Stop over at my trailer if you are going, and say hi.

good luck. how do the classes work? is a 10.80 the highest dial in time you can run?

Bill, Sat is just for the 2 classes. Sun. is Midwest Index. They have classes in 11.00 12.00 and 13.00 that go by .25 dial. In any of those classes for example you want to race in the 12.00 index. You can dial in at 12.00-12.25-12.50-12.75 and it's on a .500 pro tree.

cool. I might take a ride out there Sun with one or two of my kids and watch. I'd be really tempted to chain them to a fence and make a few passes though.

how did it go?

Not good. Made 1 hit and put it back on the trailer again. Car still has an issue. Getting it back on the dyno this week to see what it is.
