| Tested at Byron on Sun. Met Baddboy2 to give him the old Bogarts and slicks. I made one pass to test the new Paramount 6500 rpm tcm. Hit 63-6500 in my burnout. Made the pass on the nitrous tune, but no N02. It was like driving a different car! Shifts were all fast and hard. Tc lock in second and no slipping in 3rd or 4th. Shifted every gear at 6500 rpm. No limp mode. Now to get the 2-step set and launch it off of the trans brake with a N02 hit. Oh. and I was running Touts whheels and brand new Hoosier DOT slicks. Got the tits off of those babys, lol. | |

| What did you pay for that? In the market for one, heard it will knock up to 2 tenths off?? I'm looking at the MTCM | |

| Tom, that's awesome. I was just going to ask for an update on your car.
Shawn, I have a MTCM sitting in my garage now, but I'm afraid to install it. I think I'm going to wait for Tim to do it in a few months.

| I found it in Touts used parts box, lol. I think they are like 850 new. Bill programs these to be plug and play. The torque mgmt. is altered to play nice with his valve body and he moves the rev limiter out of the way to 7300 rpm. It locks the converter in 2nd and lets the car shift like a mofo. I have a 6500 rpm one. It shifts perfect.
The MTCM all I have heard is it can be a pisser. Some cars it works on an some not so much. It has to be put through a set up procedure. Some people just toss it in and drive right away and let it learn on it's own. I've heard of a few that bricked it. Not too hot on the MTCM.

| Most of the ones causing problems seem to be the same that are just thrown in and left to learn on their own. the adaptive procedure is very specific. It looks kind of cumbersome to be performed on an openroad, which is why I'm leaning towards letting MPH do it. Also, it's really easy to flash it to a stock TCM with the tuner if everything isn't done in the exact correct order. Anything dealing with computers makes me really uneasy as I have the tech IQ of a cave man. It is also said to lock the converter in 2nd and above.
How did you like the 15" wheels? I bet your front end is getting pretty light these days.

| I like the new wheels, although they aren't mine. I'm borrowing Touts that were NIB and his test DOT slicks. I wasn't too hard on them. Just did a medium light burnout to get the tits off. They really need a heavy burnout to get the glaze off. It was sooo hot on Sun. and when it's like that out the track kinda goes away a little. I'm saving the hard launch for next weekend when I get the 2-step setup for the trans brake. Just hold down the button and floor it and let go. | |

Glad someone is testing those Tom, I was given those true drag radials from Hoosier for testing hoping for better stability on the big end at 170 mph, BTW don't drive home with them they are NOT DOT radials,LOL BTW, big day Sunday please take a few video's

| Haven't had a chance to get everything else to play nice yet. I'm having a few issues with my 60' on nitrous. The harder I give it the hit it on the brake, the higher the 60' goes.
John, didn't see your post. Welcome to the CAMM. I got half your old shit on my car, lol.

I do. Bill says it's optimized for his v-body. Don't think you have to, though.
