| I ran a new best 1/4 of 12.352 @ 110.36, 1.849 60ft Then 30 min later I ran a 12.133 @ 111.42, 1.762 60ft The track was empty, maybe 20 cars, but there were some quick ones. A GTR that was the smoothest 9.8 I've ever seen, a ZR1 that had major traction issues, but was running 14x mph, a fucking eclipse that broke and ran a 9.6 @ 100 mph! It was a good time. bill | |

| I'm going to do a "stripped down" towards the end of the season as try to get everything I can. Right now I'm still trying to learn how to race consistantly. I'm still too anxious throughout the burnout/staging process. I habitually neglected to hit the record button on the data viewer, and most times forget to turn traction control off, but I'm making progress. I did have the bottom half of the back seats out, as it lets the seats fold forward farther to get my tires and equipment in easier.

| Great numbers!
Does turning off traction control make a difference?? I can't remember if I turned my off or not when I was at GLD.

bill Nice, Bill. I used to take out my interior at the track. Pass. seat and entire rear seats. You can pick up a good .1 - .15 by doing that. It's normal to forget or rush things at first. Soon you will just have a routine and go through a check list.

I'm tempted to put a kenne bell on it and try to nab an 11! My lowest time was the last run of the night, kind of like a birdie on the 18th hole, really makes you want to go back. bill

Hmmmmm for some reason, I seem to launch better with it turned off. Sometimes if I let off the throttle too quickly after my burnout the engine dies, then after I restart I always forget to turn off the traction control again. bill

| Tim said he could fix it, but it doesn't bother me enough to take it all the way out there. It dies every once in a while when I go from reverse to drive too. Only happens maybe once a month.
