Midwest Dodge Charger Show, presented by the Chicagoland Mopar Connection at the Boone County Fairgrounds (8791 Route 76, Belvidere, IL 61008).

A “show-within-the-show” at the Belvidere Mopar Happening.

Spoke to one of the guys that is running this show when we were at Mopars at the Lake and he said if anyone wanted to do both days they will make a special section for the CAMM cars that show that are not Chargers. He wants to make sure you all feel welcome as well.

7am start time gives me pause

It being 7 feet away from the sun is giving me pause.

I'm going on Saturday. There's something I want to buy . It gets so crowded on Sunday that we will pass this year. But a great show to anyone who has never done it.

I'm kinda on the fence for Sunday. It means getting up at 5am but maybe I should stop being such a baby about that. I'm looking at the CMC newsletter and it looks like they only list two classes for us. Class X for LX Platform, and then Class Y for LY platform (Challengers). No Modern Modified listed although perhaps they'll carry that over from the last event.

im going to arrive a little later prob around 1130 ish i dont see the point at getting there at 7am and i dont remember it starting that early past years.i always thought we arrived around 9am

Long term forecast for Sunday is calling for partly cloudy with a high of 77. I hope that holds.

Im picking up a friend at Ohare Sun so I'm out. Good luck everyone that goes.

I don't think I will be attending this one. It is always so friggin HOT. I know what the weather forecast is but it always seems to be HOT.

Plus I may be going to one of the local fests in the area.

Going to be absolutely beautiful the weather man shows. I'll be there both days recruiting "barn find" cars for the MCACN show. Also doing some shooting for the club and magazines.

Anyone have any info on the cruise?Years past it always left from belvidere motors and went down state street to Anderson dodge.I haven't been able to find any info on what time and where for this year

Weather was pretty good today.  Not too hot, and there was a nice cool breeze.  Saw Vikes and MoparMarc.  Took second in the Challenger class.  Watched one of the other Challenger owners throw a fit before the awards because they combined stock and modified together into a single group, and then the same guy took third.
