Hey Diallo try getting 3 different exposure of the same pictures...So in your camera take one at exposure 0,one at +2 and the third at -2.

There's way to do it with just one pic but it doesn't turn out anywhere near as good as it does with the 3 exposures as HemiMag described.

I have the software to combine all three exposures into an HDR if you want me to do it for you.

Also, make sure you use a tripod when you shoot the 3 exposures. Depending on the camera you're using, look for a feature called exposure bracketing and it'll do it for you automatically. That's the easiest way.

Lastly, keep a close watch on what's in your background. Things like open garage doors tend to take away from the subject.

Those are good lookin pics of your maggie!!

Thanks for all the info! It sounds a lot tougher than I expected!! Didn't realize it can be such an involved process.

I'd love for anyone to take a crack at it. As for shooting 3 of the same photos, I don't have a tripod but I'm sure that can be "improvised" LOL

I'll get on it today!

The world is your tripod. Set your camera down on anything you have. Best thing to do is to set it to self timer instead of manually pressing the shutter. And then just take the three shots at three different exposure levels so you have one that is dark, one that is normal (like the originals you took) and one that is bright (over exposed a little). And make sure you take all three pics from the exact same location. Then those three pics are combined together into one HDR. It's really not that complicated. Just figure out how to set the exposure levels on your camera and you're all set.
