Ahhhh the fun begins....

So a buddy of mine (car salesman who sold me the Charger years ago, we still keep in touch) has a 06 Charger, his woman took it to Gurnee Mills Mall, parked it, went shopping whatever. Well when she came out somebody clipped the Charger and drove off... doesn't surprize me in THAT area..... BUT we were talking last time I swung into the stealership for them to check my trans fluid (I do it once a year after I pull it out of storage), and we worked out a decent price for me to fix it up. I got him a list of everything he needed, and it all came in!! Went over to his place and picked it up tonight. Gotta install a new internal metal bumper, new headlights/sidemarkers, grill, front fascia, fog lights, I THINK thats it, might be another piece or two...... I'll be updating this as I go.....


I got my work cut out.....

That's not a clip! someone smashed into it.
Is the hood and Fender also bent or is that a trick of the flash.

But yeah it is bent a little, but he didnt want to replace, I'll do my best on bending it back, I think I can get it REAL close to perfect

Well the car is in the best hands it can be in.

But that sir was no "clip."

Just a little scratch.... some bondo and some touch up paint.... like 1-2-3 LoL Presto Fixo!!! LoL

Tell him to let you rip that air resonator out of there, he may thank you. lol But that sucks that someone can just drive off after smashing into the car like that.

WOW thats crazy and just like moaugust88 said how can someone just drive off after that.

I got ALOT done since I posted this, Pretty much everything is all good. Just waiting on some new inner fender liners to arrive, they were all messed up and melted from rubbing on the front tires when they drove it home.

Got the new bumper installed and headlights




Fixing the front fenders




Got the headlights wired up



Got the fog lights mounted to the front fascia and wired up and grill mounted




I have the front fascia completely mounted and good to go, I got the fenders and hood pretty straight. It's on jackstands on these pics. Was under the car doing the oil change, a new alternator (it was making the LOUDEST whine noise), and also replaced the spark plugs, upper intake gasket, egr gasket, cleaned out the upper intake and throttle body, and removed the intake silencer.

Not bad!!!! I still have my other fender they could have bought. half the fender would have matched, lol.
