Is anyone running without the belly pan? If so is there any benefit besides removing it to change the oil?

I heard it helps with cooling in the summertime and it might protect from rocks hitting your oil pan. Lots of people run with them off and have no problems.

It helps flatten out road kills more and keeps most of the chunks out of the engine bay.
